A second Air show was
organised in 1988 to mark in Australian Bicentennial year, the
60th anniversary of the first solo flight to Australia by Bert
Hinkler, and the airport's many other Australian connections. |
The
30th of May 1988 was the last time an aircraft landed on the
remains of the old airfield at Croydon by special arrangement |
